An anthology / joint magazine from the circle Albatross and their BIRD imprint, which deviated from their main Albatross titles. This group primarily contained fujoshi authors, many of which were seniors in highschool and older, and boasted lots of talent from the late 70s/early 80s camp. Many authors who contributed to this work participated in a few other circles and projects, primarily Doronco/Doronko's REX, Mari Hibiki's NORMAL and the Rubicon imprint. BIRD boasted membership to support its publishing, and selected letters/correspondence can be seen towards the back of the book. With a variety of impressionable young women at the helm, BIRD is printed on quality paper and an expensive vynil for the cover, boasting hot-stamp embossed swirls. Several mid 70s works get parodied as this particular volume was published in 1981, though some pieces are marked to have been from 1980.
